Thick, chunky and super soft – that is how Baby Snuggle Solid is best described.
Baby Snuggle Solid is a microfibre yarn and you might already know its type as it is used in e.g. teddies, blankets and super soft dressing gowns. The velour-like surface is what makes the yarn so incredibly soft, that it’s hard to keep your fingers off it.
Baby Snuggle Solid has a stimulating surface and is thus great for baby and children’s things, e.g the most wonderful blanket or the softest teddy bear. It is also well suited for interior projects such as pillows and fuzzy poufs…
Remember that you can also use the yarn to crochet or knit something for yourself. Lovely, soft sweaters in Baby Snuggle Solid will feel like wearing a great big hug.
Always start and finish your projects in Baby Snuggle in the following manner:
1. Tie a small, tight knot at the end of the yarn when you are starting and again when finishing your work
2. Very carefully burn the tip of the yarn. It will melt into a little hard ball.
Repeat every time you change skeins. This will ensure that the fibers don’t “slide off” the yarn as you are working with it.
Baby Snuggle Solid dorns the Oekotex lable, and it can also be machine-washed, which is a nearly indispensable quality, especially if the yarn is used for small children.
If you prefer a print variant you can find Baby Snuggle Print here on the website. You will find the link above this text.
The print version is slightly smaller in volume than Solid but can be knit and crocheted on the same needles/hook. This can, however, be affected if you mix Print and Solid in the same project and that is why we recommend you use them separately. Since Snuggle is a thick yarn, where few stitches quickly become lengthy in cm, it wouldn’t mean a difference in the size of the finished projects made in the two variations.
The yarn is OEKO-TEX® certified (no. 2076-311). Find more information about the certification on the https://www.oeko-tex.com/en/.

I used to use some other brands of this type of yarn and in my opinion the Baby Snuggle Solid is the best! It's softer, definetely more solid, very pleasant to work with, brings so many ideas what to use it for. I just started crochetting a new blanket and decided to order more of this yarn, more colours for more projects.
Please, god, help me sell them quickly so I could buy more of this yarn! Please, manufacturer, do not discontinue this yarn! Please owners of this shop, do not raise the price on it as at the moment it's perfect for a small busitess like mine :)
I recently used this yarn, it was my first experience of using this type of polyester yarn. It is pretty easy to work with, you just need to watch your tension or go down a hook size to avoid loops escaping! it washed and dried well too. The look and feel of your project in this yarn is just so lovely and soft and squishy and snuggle!! I made a huge blanket (140 x 200cm) with it and it worked up really quickly.
Super soft yarn! The colour is really pretty and shimmers in the light.
It's really easy to crochet with, whether you use metal, bamboo or plastic hooks, and makes for a really nice, tight gauge.
It does fray a lot easier than traditional yarn, but that's really easily fixed by just running the end of the yarn through a flame! Definitely plan to buy this yarn again, I adore working with it.
Dreamy yarn to work with. I prefer to knot it instead of burning the ends as I found the ends had a habit of falling of when darning in the ends. Only downside is if you have to frog it or using a long bit to sow together pieces, the fluff will bunch up. So far I’ve made scrunchies, a hat, a pillow case and a reversible octopus plushie… endless cloudy soft possibilities with this yarn!
Amazing yarn, great colour selection, would recommend for people who are confident with crochet as it is easy to work with but if you have to undo stitches the fluff comes off and looks a little patchy and can be a bit fiddly when sewing in ends for the same reason, however, this doesnt stop me from ALWAYS using this yarn! would definitely recommend if youre looking for fluffy wool :)
