Pro tip: Before you start working the Twirl cake, run all 4 treads through a small bead to help the threads stay together throughout the project.

I purchased some of this yarn a while ago but was slightly put off when it arrived to find that the yarn appeared as four strands. No, I didn't read the blurb beforehand and put off using it. However, I started a new project last night and have been more than pleasantly surprised. Somehow, the four strands doen't separate when you are working on your project (I'm currently crotcheting). It makes up into a lovely, soft fabric. I'm currently using shade 10 which starts off as a rich, dark teal which ihas recently become a firm favourite of mine. I wouldn't hesitate to use this yarn again, especially for spring/summer projects.

I've just started to crochet at 54 years young, and I'm obsessed with colour changing shawls. So I came across Hobbii and their wonderful Twirl yarns. So I purchased 3 (remember, I've never crocheted before!) and when they arrived I couldn't wait to get started on a shawl. Excellent quality yarn and the colour changing cakes are mesmerising. I went for colours 13, 25 & 35, all gorgeous. I'm currently crocheting a Virus Shawl in number 25, light bright blue changing to dark denim blue. They are stunning and I'll certainly purchase again from Hobbii. Delivery time was satisfactory, no problems. Thank you Hobbii!

So much to say, beautiful range of colours, from the bright and bold, through the dusty to the pastel, all gorgeous. So difficult to choose what to buy (I want one of all!!)
Such a pleasure to work with, though it's not a spun yarn, l don't find it splits when crocheting with it.
Lovely quality cotton, the colour is beautifully gradual, instead of a chopped off effect you can get with some other brands.
It gives a lovely soft drape, holds it's shape and colour when washed.
In my opinion you can't go wrong with the Twirl.

I purchased 2 of these over the last few months and couldn't believe how wonderfully beautiful they are. The quality of the cotton is lovely and the colour I found gorgeous. I've recently done a tester using this wool (crocheting) and it has turned out better than expected. I can't wait to finish my upcoming project using this Cotton King Twirl. Really impressed with hobbii and the quality of product for the price. The only website/shop I will be ordering my yarn from! Thanks you guys. xx

Absolutely love this yarn, I have not worked with 100% cotton before but it is beautifully soft and gives a wonderful drape to the blanket I am making. The knots for the colour changes are easily worked into my work and disappear without a trace, leaving a gentle, subtle colour change as the piece progresses. The range of colours is astounding - I will most certainly be buying more of these fab twirls in the future.
