Good to know
Go handmade’s collection is developed and handcrafted
by the expert hands of passionate knitters.
All are knitted to meet what we find is a medium tightness
and what suits the article.

Needle size and tension
Knitters knit very differently: some knit with a needle size
2,0 mm and obtain the same size of design quality as a
person who knits with a needle size 4,0 mm. We owe this
knowledge to the team of knitters who join us.
The key to knit a specific size is a lot about the knitting
style/hands/skills, rather than the size of needles.
Therefore, we will recommend a range of needle sizes.

The pattern doesn't state it is a top down cardigan, which i think should have been mentioned at the start. I love knitting top down for baby knitwear, but it can be daunting for those not used to this type of pattern. I also feel the pattern is not clearly written, particularly for less experienced knitters. Also I feel the cardigan is rather big for the stated sizes. In saying all that it is a pretty cardigan and hopefully will not put people off knitting top down.

Daphne

I think Mrs Russell previous reviewer is confused by the pattern as I have, but I have seen other patterns like this where the whole cardigan is knitted in one piece from the top down and then sleeves added, I find the whole thing far to complicated without more instructions on this method, I understand it avoids side seams but I have only knitted one of these patterns and became unsure of how you cope with the raglan sleeves, I won’t be attempting another until I have found out the experts way of doing it. I would just use the pattern as a guide to knit the normal way of back and two sides and sleeves, it is a shame as it is such a pretty style.

Mrs russell

Hi there, I’ve copied this pattern and after reading it through there seems to be some instructions missing. Could you please check this and let me know you findings. Many thanks bev

Andrea

This is a very confusing pattern! There seems to be instructions missing!
I’m very disappointed.
Perhaps you could explain the pattern? I’m an experienced knitter, but never encountered anything like this

Claire

I cant make head nor tail of the instructions on this pattern, very disappointed
