Soft and delicious 4-thread acrylic yarn, which is balled up in a so-called pullskein. You can easily use the innermost thread and use the skein from within. There are many of us who will benefit from the skein not rolling away underneath the sofa while knitting/crocheting. Or in the bag for that matter!
Malaga is found in a wide range of colors and the fine acrylic has a wonderful lightness. If you don’t tolerate wool, here you have a wonderful and warm alternative. It is easy to deal with, both on the needles and as a finished product as it can be machine washed.
Malaga is a very versatile yarn which can be used for loads of projects from clothing and accessories to interior items like blankets, pillows etc.
Malaga is a premium acrylic, so it has been spun from a very high quality. This means that the yarn is processed in several steps, which may well be reminiscent of the processing of wool. Among these steps, the acrylic is combed, making it fuller and even softer. In addition, Malaga has undergone a Hi-Bulk process where the yarn is steamed during production causing a little contraction, resulting in a more comfortable, soft fullness.
See also Malaga Print which is a true explosion of colors - there are countless opportunities to combine the two in a project - They have precisely the same thickness and are just waiting to become one in a fun and lovely project. Check out the link to Malaga Print on the top of the page!
The yarn is OEKO-TEX® certified (no. 2076-311). Find more information about the certification on the https://www.oeko-tex.com/en/

Malaga 100% premium acrylic yarn is my favourite yarn as it is easy to crochet with the smooth yarn texture. Absolutely beginner friendly yarn using 5 - 6 mm size hook. It is easy to crochet colourful granny squares with the many choices of colour available. Pattern and stitches are easily seen and check if I am crocheting right. A very versatile yarn to crochet jumper, cardigan, scarf, shawl, and blanket.
Malaga is excellent quality yarn and my favourite acrylic to work with. I've used absolutely loads of it, including my current project! It is the softest, most consistent acrylic I've ever used. I have never found any joins in a ball, nor have I ever had one that goes thin as some other brands do. If you are buying some for the first time you are in for a real treat!
I seriously love, love, LOVE this yarn! I'm sometimes a bit leery of acrylic yarns (you never know if it will be scratchy or soft) but I was so pleased with this Malaga aran. It knits and crochets well, comes in a nice-sized 100g pull skein, and, best of all, it's sooooo soft! I will definitely be buying more for any aran projects, it's an absolutely beautiful yarn!
I Love this yarn. It is lovely and soft and so nice to work with. The centre pull makes it even more appealing too. I would definitely recommend this yarn for all projects from Amigurumi to clothing and blankets. I'd say it has a thickness of Aran yarn but super soft and doesn't split.
just made a sweater out of this yarn. it is so easy to crochet up. very slippery so I don't have to worry about knots in the yarn, its even easier to frog out some stitches because it doesn't catch onto the other stitches. i would buy this again.
